FAQs

Questions you may have

What happens if you find mats and knots in my dog's coat?

If your dog is  exceptionally matted, we will endeavour to keep the coat as long as possible. However it may be necessary for the welfare and comfort of your pet, that the coat is clipped much shorter than normal. An additional cost may be necessary if the groom takes longer than normal.

How do I pay for my dog's groom?

Dogs 'n Doodles accept payment with cash, bank transfer and bank cards with SumUp.

When will I know when you collect my dog?

We would typically expect to have your dog for 1.5 to 2 hours although this may be longer due to behaviour and coat condition. We will call you 30 minutes before they are ready for collection.

Will my dog have the opportunity to go to the toilet or have a drink whilst in your care?

Yes, your dog will have the opportunity to toilet in a secure garden between stages of their groom and they will be offered fresh water.

How many dogs do you have at the grooming salon at any one time?

Mostly there will only be one dog in the salon, however at busier times there may be two dogs present at the same time. We operate a one to one policy which means your dog will have a groomer all to themselves.
